Built on Barco’s proven HDF platform, this 3-chip DLP projector delivers up to 30,000 center lumens of Xenon-powered brightness, making it a reference-grade tool for stadiums, major live events, auditoriums, houses of worship, and any large-scale production where ambient light and long throw distances are non-negotiable realities.
The HDF-W30 FLEX uses a 0.96″ DMD x3 sealed DLP core with WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200, 16:10 aspect ratio) and a 1900:1 contrast ratio. Barco’s FLEX brightness technology allows output to be tuned from 18,000 to 30,000 lumens in 2,000-lumen increments, giving rental companies and event producers the flexibility to match light output precisely to each show’s requirements. A single 4.0 kW Xenon lamp drives the entire system, simplifying lamp management and alignment compared to multi-lamp competitors.
Image processing is handled by Barco’s ImagePRO (Athena scaler) with a dual-core warp engine supporting extended warping and blending. Native 3G/HD/SDI-SDI inputs with low video delay make it broadcast-ready for live events. The rugged, modular chassis is designed for life on the road—five serviceable building blocks, removable lamp house and power supply, and compatibility with the full TLD+ lens suite. Fully sealed optics maintain image quality over time regardless of environmental conditions. DMX-512 control and a preview LCD display round out a purpose-built professional platform.
Important note: This is a professional installation projector weighing 99 kg (218 lbs) and drawing 4800W at full power. It requires a 200-240V power supply and is designed for fixed installation or touring frames—not portable tabletop use. Xenon lamp life is approximately 600 hours at full brightness.
