At its core, the VPL-GTZ380 uses three 0.74-inch SXRD panels delivering true native 4K resolution at 4096 × 2160 pixels—over 26 million pixels on screen. This is not pixel-shifting or upscaling. It is genuine 4K from a compact chassis measuring just 560 × 228 × 760 mm and weighing approximately 51 kg (excluding lens). Sony’s unique 3-channel laser light source, which incorporates a red laser diode alongside two blue laser diodes, achieves 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage without the brightness penalty common to filter-based designs.
